Production checklist

  • Keep API keys server-side and never expose them in browser JavaScript.
  • Use model IDs shown as active in your account.
  • Handle provider/model errors and rate limits.
  • Do not send sensitive personal data unless your agreements and technical controls permit it.
  • Review the applicable provider terms for every model you use.
